Mini Game 17: The reason you're here! THE COOKING GAME!!
Yes, we get a cooking game again! You may do one a week or as many as you want! There's no limit here!
The rules:
Players must collect recipes from enemies/world and increase Hai Yo’s menu. Your recipes will be listed here.
During a cooking a battle, players get four judges, who rank dish on a scale of 1-10.
Players must make appetizer, main course, and a dessert; two players on each station, with Hai Yo as the sixth member of team (Sun Crystal and Yasuki can’t cook).
Each recipe/dish has its own ‘type’’ (Italian, French, American, Mexican, Japanese, Chinese).
Each Judge has a food type they LOVE (automatic +1).
To determine who is a judge for that battle, roll 1d100, and use star. If get 100, roll a d20. If get Hai Yo himself, a star who hasn’t been recruited, or the player(s) cooking, reroll or take the closest available star.
To determine quality of cooking, each player rolls a 1d4. This roll is directly added to you score.
NOTE: All dishes start off with a score of 1, the lowest possible score.
So for example, your dish starts off as a one. Mike and Sarah decide to cook together, and both roll a 1d4. Mike rolls a 2, and Sarah channels Mia/Nafra to roll a 4. This is 1 +2 + 4 = 7 for your score of this dish.
To determine the quality of your presentation of the dish, each station rolls a d6. 1 = horrible (-3 points from all), 2 = poor (-1 point from all), 3 is all right (-1 point from those who don’t LOVE this type of food), 4 = Decent (+1 to all who LOVE this type of food), 5 = good (+1 from all judges), and 6 = superb (+3 from all judges).
Example: So for the above dish, we had a score of 7. Mike decides to let Sarah prepare the plate, and she rolls a 5. This gives a +1 to all the judges reactions. Keep in mind, each judge has their own different foods they love/hate which will further change the score.
Last but not least, whatever dish Hai Yo is working on gets an automatic +2 from all judges, as Hai Yo is that awesome.
Last but not least, your victories will be recorded here~!
